While I was in Saudi Arabia back in 1990-91, I ran across units who had, yeah, I said "had" women in their ranks. Most of them got pregnate the moment they heard they were getting deployed to the Gulf. Most of the rest waited until they were in Country before using the pregnate card to leave. The rest of the females, except two, got pregnate when their unit was told they were going to the Iraqi border. There was a female LT who openly said she was going to get "knocked up" if she was told she was going north! What do you think that does to the moral of the unit??? How about the males who see the females are using this as their "ace card" to go home??? Because over a third of the unit was females, this unit was no longer mission capable to do it's mission. The sad thing of all this was this unit was a supply company! There were units that depended on this unit for vehicles and material!
No! Females do not belong in the military because it's too easy for them to bail out when the shtf! That results in units that are no longer mission capable!
Here's an interesting note: While I was down in Daharan, I took the oppertunity to do my laundry at Camp Jill at the Daharan airbase. While doing my laundry, some females came in to do their laundry too. All of the sudden, we had a Scud alert! After the all clear was called, they wanted sex. I wasn't sure if it was a "Insure the species lives on" thing, or if they were wanting out of country. I was married at the time, so they were turned down. Personal beliefs.
