I said that whatever is placed on the Army soldier's noggin won't fix the military. People are leaving the military in droves, sir, for just the reasons I have stated (As I did, twenty years ago). People are also not enlisting in droves, either; causing a personnel a shortfall which most assuredly will continue as long as our economy is strong. I have flown-as a civilian pilot-the T-34 and T-28, plus several other types of single and multi-engine aircraft. In my capacity of airfield management, air traffic control, and as NCO scheduler/BOLD FACE EMERGENCY PROCEDURES TESTING for the USAF Test Pilot School, plus four years in T-37 and T38 squadron operations, plus observational flights in the cockpits of HH-43, UH-1, H-53, T-29, KC135, C-130, C-141, T-43, U-21, ST/SA (Shuttle Training/Simulator Aircraft-a modified Gufstream II), and as a 25 year accident free pilot, I may know someone vaguely associated with military and airline operations, don't you think?
