Comment #397 Error Correction December 14, 2000 Comment #: 397A Discussion Thread: #397 I made a whopper of a mistake in Comment # 397 when discussing the AP report about the $279,000 bash the Secretary of Defense threw for 350 Hollywood celebrities. The bill for their food was reported to be $76,000, which I erroneously said equated $2171 per dinner per person. In fact, that number should have been $217 per person - still gross, but nowhere near as gross as #2171.
